Industry News — Macy’s debuts ‘Story’ in 36 stores nationwide

Macy’s has incorporated its Story retail concept into 36 stores nationwide in 15 states. “This concept features a rotating set of merchandise based on a theme, which for the national debut is “Color.” Brands this go-round include more than 70 small businesses and more than 400 products. They include an online kidswear brand Primary (making its brick-and-mortar debut), Los Angeles-based chocolatier Compartes,MAC Cosmetics, Crayola and Levi’s Kids, among others.” In the NYC, Herald’s Square location, Story will occupy 7,500 square feet.

We love to see that a big box retailer is changing things up and seeking out experiencial ways to attract customers.
